In Chris Davenport, Kästle has teamed up with one of the most ambitious and accomplished free skiers in the world. A former alpine downhill racer, Davenport has won many freeskiing competitions including the 1996 and 2001 World Extreme Skiing Championships in Alaska.
Davenport is a regular contributor to several ski publications, and has been featured in over twenty feature ski films. Davenport is also a TV reporter and color commentator for ESPN and ABC Sports. Last year, Davenport climbed and skied down all 54 of Colorado’s fourteen-thousand-foot peaks.
