2008-05-19: Kästle Pro Athlete Chris Davenport Completes Quest to Ski Classic Peaks in the Alps Professional skier and alpinist, Chris Davenport of Aspen, Colo., completed his quest to ski four of the highest and most famous peaks in the Alps: Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and the Eiger. Davenport, who famously skied all 54 of Colorado’s 14 thousand foot peaks last year, completed his European quest in just 10 days from May 5 to May 14.

The six-stop freeskiing series continues this weekend in Squaw Valley, Calif.

2007-11-15: Hugo Harrisson Joins Kästle Pro Team Kästle is pleased to announce the addition of Canadian freeskiing champion Hugo Harrisson to its professional team. Harrisson is the first North American named to the inaugural Kästle Pro Team, which includes Martin “McFly” Winkler (AUT), Sascha Schmid (SWI), Giulia Monego (ITA), Baptiste Blanc (FRA) and Jennifer Farde (SWE).

The new skis feature the same handcrafted quality that made Kästle famous for 80 years, combined with the latest in wood-core ski technology and construction. Kästle skis will be available in North America and Europe at selected retailers in late 2007.
