Alpine Ski Adventure La Grave

La Grave

Located in a remote corner of the French Hautes Alpes, La Grave and the massif of La Meije offer the biggest lift-accessed off-piste skiing in the world. The ski area consists of a cable car and two drag lifts that take you from 1400 meters to the “Dome de la Lauze” glacier at 3550 meters in 30 minutes. From here you can access exhilarating skiing terrain with descents of up to 2,300 vertical meters, making La Grave probably the largest off-piste area in Europe. The combination of the high altitude and North facing slopes provides ideal conditions for deep powder and excellent snow. Thereford it’s the perfect location for the KÄSTLE Adventure Tour in March 2014.
