Freeride Pro Camp Krippenstein, Austria

Ask any of the KÄSTLE Pros, and they’ll tell you that the Krippenstein freeride area is one of the top freeride spots in Austria. Krippenstein is blessed with large amounts of snow each year, providing skiers with 30 km of powder runs of up to 1500 vertical meters. The newly built Krippenstein cable car, combined with the backdrop of the Dachstein Massif, makes this spot a true freeride paradise.

The Krippenstein area is truly a hidden gem due to the small number of lifts, which don’t allow for mass tourism. Steep faces, couloirs, vast glacier runs and even skiable limestone caves highlight some of the Krippenstein terrain.

The rider community is very much among itself here due to the small amounts of ski lifts which don’t allow for mass tourism. Steep faces and couloirs, vast glacier runs and even skiable limestone caves belong to some of the highlights of the Krippenstein. Advanced riders will greatly benefit from the local knowledge and expert coaching skills of certified ski instructor and guide Martin Unterberger. You will become more mountain and snow savty with Martin’s tips and reach your next level of skiing together with him. After the first day of short ascents and off-piste runs, the runs for the following two days will be planned with the group.

Our hotel is situated between the mountains and the lake, amid Hallstatt’s UNESCO World Heritage site, where we will be pampered with a unique flair, wellness-area and regional specialties from the Salzkammergut.
