For the second year in a row, KÄSTLE Pro Alex Ferreira took home the bronze medal in Men’s Ski Superpipe at X Games in Aspen, Colorado. In the last run of the finals, the 20 year old Aspen local put up the best performance of the day with a score of 91.66 points. Only the eventual winner Simon d' Artois from Canada and the second-placed Frenchman Kevin Rolland would eventually put up higher scores. "This is really overwhelming," Ferreira said at the end of the day.
Cheered on by thousands of spectators, Alex was competing on a venue he first skied when he was eight years old. Alex was skiing on the XX80, his choice competition ski. View his full fun here: http://xgames.espn.go.com/video/12227408/alex-ferreira-wins-bronze-men-ski-superpipe
