Hollowtech

With the help of the HOLLOWTECH technology the ski‘s running characteristics is improved. The cutout section in the shovel leads to a reduced weight of the freely vibrating zone by almost 15 %. The resulting lower inertia moments optimize the retraction behavior of the ski. This means that after an impact the shovel returns much faster to the stable condition, enabling the ski to keep its track much more precisely. Hollowtech creates even greater weight savings on the TX touring skis. And the Dual Hollowtech on the XX Twintip skis, allows for the fastest rotation and most controllable spin.

WAIST 107 MM:

Affords exceptional float in backcountry terrain. More flotation means less resistance, and therefore easier off-piste skiing. Compared to a classic ski of similar length, the running surface gains approximately 61%.

EARLY RISE ROCKER:

TX107 is constructed with Modern Rocker Geometry. This provides easier, more controlable handling and better flotation. Ski Geometry: The SINGLE RADIUS masters changing conditions in difficult terrain. The natural sidecut guarantees a smooth and confident ride.

WOOD CORE:

karuba wood provides an exceptional strength to weight ratio. In order to realize a comfortable longitudinal flex with high torsional rigidity, the traditional sandwich core concept has been reinforced with a structural element (CAP). This wood core, in combination with a fibreglass, allows for perfect harmonization of vibrations and flexing characteristics. The reinforced housing from various fiberglass sheets acts like a torsional box, equipping the ski with high torsional rigidity. This harmonization is ony made possible through the combination of high-quality sandwich construction and a fiberglass cap.

FEATURES:

To achieve a super light, touring ski both top and bottom sheets are made of fiberglass plastic (GRP). HOLLOWTECH technology is used in the tip for further weight reduction.

WEAR PROTECTION:

The upper edge radius in combination with the sandwich cap construction offers optimal protection against wear and tear.
